Our boring weekend!

Not too much happened this weekend. One of my best friends got married Saturday, I was in it and Mady too, so pics were hard lol! Have to wait til she gives me my disc! Mom had her Christmas but being a doofus I forgot my camera! But I do have some pics that I took before the rehearsal dinner on Friday

Our Weekend

This weekend was a busy one for us! We took the girls to see Santa on Saturday and Mady had a cow! She didn't want anything to do with him! Sami on the other hand just kinda watched and tried to figure out who the heck he was lol!

And then there was Mady... we had to bribe her with candy lol!

1 month later!

Sorry Britt since I know you're the only one who really reads this!! I have been a little busy. Mady is now 3 and I'm so ready for 16 at this point, finally potty trained! It only took till she was in the week of her 3rd birthday, one left and then maybe in like 10 years we'll do it again! Just kidding on the 10 years part!

Thanksgiving was great, ate way too much, probably gained weight but, ya know, it's okay, I have a big butt and I don't care anymore, I'm gonna be fat but I'm gonna be happy! Yay, go me! The Friday shopping was great! Didn't run into any witchy people until checking out in our very last store, yeah, go figure!

Christmas is in less than 2 weeks and I thought I was done with everything and I find out that my older brother, whom I haven't seen in over 5 years, is coming up for Christmas! Grrr... just when I thought things were great, I know have to do more buying that I didn't budget for! And you'd think that he could come see us more, he doesn't work and my dad pays, and he's never met my girls! But that wouldn't give me any incentive to make a trip... yeah anyway!
Can't wait till the girls open presents! Mady has already caught me wrapping clothing boxes and asked why I was doing it, I had to tell that Santa was really busy with all the other boys and girls and sometimes he asks mommies to help him some! We then had to load the wrapped presents into big cardboard boxes so that Daddy could take them to the north pole!
So now that this is settled I'm going to be on a little more, hopefully everyday-ish again!

Where do they get this (warning 1 bad word lol)

My 3 year old hears everything! Sometimes picking up on things we say out of habit and we don't realize we say: until we hear come out of a toddler! I'm taking a cue from Brittany on this and posting as a dialog...

We were in Wal-Mart's parking lot and it smelled like manure, living where we do that's normal. Well when we opened the car doors we hear this...


Mady: Mommy, what's that smell?

Me: That's poopy, Mad.

Mady: Oh! Is poop like shit??


I mean, come on how do you answer that lol! You say yes then she calls it that, if you say no you're lying! I tried to explain to her that yes it is called that but WE don't call it that!
Brittany, since I know you read these, does Adam ever get so caught up in what he's saying that he stutters and stumbles over the words? Mady does it some and I wanted to know if that was semi-normal... ya know? LOL

Changes!

I was thinking today how much has changed recently and how those changes are finally coming to light! My first baby will be 3! That's scary and awe-inspiring... I made it this far (some alone) and she's still alive and healthy and she's smart as heck! There's nothing that the kid won't do or try to do... not always a good thing! In a few years she'll be starting school... I just can't believe she's so big! And then there's Mantha... my little Punky is almost a year old and it sucks! I want my baby back, I want my cuddly little warm body back! She's still only got the 5 teeth but she's trying to cruise the furniture and I don't need another Mady to chase around lol! No pics today cuz my comp and my camera don't want to work together lol

I finally got to have my first beggar's night with Mady-moo... and ironically it was Sami's first time too! I got some good pics but then my batteries (brand-new, fresh ones) died so I was sad!

This is what happens when Mady is left alone.... sort of! You'd be surprised how much can happen when mommy goes potty or changes the baby or even goes to the kitchen for something! This little girl had the bright idea to put mommy's shimmery body lotion in her hair, well it worked kind of like a re-moldable hair gel, kind of like play dough hair! I could stick it up and then smooth it down!

Well being the wonderful mommy that I am... I took pictures!!! They're kind of blurry because I took them with my phone, but here is what happens when a child puts shimmery lotion in their hair!

"Punkin" carving time!

This last weekend we did pumpkins! Mady's first time and Sami's too (obviously)! Mady would not touch the guts, she said they were ucky-poo-poo... our word here for gross lolThis is Mady, with the guts scoop... that was the only way that she would put her hand into the pumpkin.

Tooo Long

I didn't realize that it had been since April that I posted... That's been a while lol! Sorry to anyone who actually reads what I post! I have lots of new pics to put up if my new computer gets my software installed! I love it!
Well on to my girls! Mady will be 3 next month and I can't wait till she's 6... I'm so tired of the Mady she is now.... she's bossy and has a constant attitude, she hates taking orders and has a hard time listening! I know it has a lot to do with the age but I'm ready to be finished! Although it really doesn't matter because as soon as I get one out the other will be there! Other than that we are almost potty-trained, thank heavens! It only took forever! Now for Mantha... she is 8 months old now, has 5 teeth, crawls, stands up, and eats everything. I spend my hours at home chasing them and saving books and newspapers and hair pretties and everything else from Sami. Work has slowed down.... not necessarily in a good way! I've got 4 hours in this week!
Well my camera is being stupid and won't let me upload all of my pics so I'll try again later this evening

Busy, busy, busy

I've had a busy few days, between work and a baby who isn't happy anyway but her swing and bouncing in your arms, my butt is tired~ On a slightly happier note, I got 30 minutes of me time and got my hair cut... hopefully tomo I'll have pics!

BSM:A little late

Okay, I'm taking a page from Brittany's book and playing with my photos a little... in the five minutes I have I did this to one of Sami's older ones... I like it, I just wish I could make her eyes blue, I think that would look really cool! Nothing is really happening here, I am giving Sami some gas drops now and it seems to have cut down on the spit-up, hopefully it keeps working~

Blah...!

It's the start of another busy weekend! We have a lot to do, around here and we have to get groceries! I wish there was a grocery fairy who would just bring them to me! My mom and dad's 26th anniversary is coming up on Tuesday and that day also marks the day that Charlie and I have been married for 6 months! Half a year, it seems so short but so long all at the same time! Sami is still hurling so I'm gonna take things into my own hands and try what I did for Mad... she had reflux (only a mild case, thank God!) and I had to give her a little Maylanta in her formula, I'm going to try this, I'm also gonna pick up gas drops and see if it's just trapped gas bringing it back up! She really doesn't like to burp and sometimes doesn't so we're gonna try it! Doing 800 loads of stinky, pukey baby stuff sucks... and taking apart equipment to wash covers does too! And maybe sometime this weekend I'll get a nap too!

The ones of Mady were really hard to get! She threw a fit because she didn't want to sit on the table, she wanted to play with the football... the only way to get her to cooperate a little was to promise to buy her her own football as soon as we were done! I know, but sometimes bribery is the ONLY option!

And obviously bribery works....

It just stinks because in some you can tell she was crying!

I think this one is my fave of Sami, I just love her hands in this one!

I hate shots!

I had to take Sami for her first shots and as all mommies know, that really sucks! She did fairly well... she cried for a while stopped, and then it was like she would think about it again and then start crying again! Mady was really good too but she had to have a sticker and a band-aid just like sissy. It's been a long week, my line has been running like poo all week (since Sunday) and last night they finally shut it down for a while and we got to go home early! That was the only plus side... since now if you miss or go home during the week you work Saturday, I hope he doesn't make me work! I got the girls' picures back and hopefully I'll get them posted on here in the next couple of days!

BSM and car update

Let's startwith the car, I guess it was what Charlie called a sway bar, it attaches to my frame and is basically the stabilizer to help even me out on curves and turns. But it's a really good thing that I stopped because it was rubbing against stuff including my hydraulic brakeline so I could have lost brakes if I had tried to see how far I could go! I'm glad that I listened when something told me to pull over! I've never been extremely spiritual but I think that someone else was there with me Friday night! And it sounds like I'm gonna be getting a "new" car too! I have an oil leak, a coolant leak, and my something else is leaking (I don't remember what it was called) and if it goes you have to lift out the whole engine to fix! It would cost more than my car is worth! Thank God I have a handy hubby because this fix only cost me $11! Go Charlie

A crappy end to a crappy week... at the beginning of what seems to be a crappy month

April has been pretty crappy so far! At the beginning of the month Mady had pink eye, then we all get the poopies and the pukies and Buddy wants visitation... and now the worst that could have happened has happened........... My car (the only vehicle that holds all four of us) took a crap last night on my way home from work to pick up Mady!!! I was going through an intersection, not even speeding, mind you, hit a dip in the road (which has always been there, and I travel this road at least twice, to and from work) and the next thing I know my whole front end is clunking and shaking! My first thought is, okay it's a flat, I can handle this... I get out and all four tires are just fine, so then I freak and call Charlie, he's now out of bed at 12:30 after going to work at 4 this morning and having two teeth pulled after work, I also call my mom to let her know I won't make it there for a while! Charlie gets there and after driving my car and parking it in the high school parking lot, informs me that it's my tran-axle which is pretty bad and if I hadn't pulled over right away I would have totally screwed my transmission! And he also informed me that if it wasn't that then the other thing it could be (I don't remember what it was) it would cost more to fix than my car is worth!!!! :( I wanted a new car but this isn't how I wanted to get it!!! I just praise God that the girls were not with me!

Update and more sickies

Mady did fine but she won't be going today because I don't feel like going out and he doesn't have a car... I really made him angry but he can kiss my butt! I guess all she did was color so of course she's gonna be good... just wait till she gets mad and throws one of her wonderful tantrums!


And now for the sickies! I started feeling really crappy (no pun intended haha) last night around 9 and prolly made 6 bolts for the bathroom in the 3 hours till end of shift! I couldn't keep anything down (or in if you know what I mean... no details). And after having that kind of evening I come home to a baby who is also throwing up... so I have to totally stip her bassinet... I mean sheets, liner, and the mattress because it was all OVER! Poor baby! So today after two more feedings and their encores, I did what doctors say not to do: I gave a baby under four months cereal! *Gasp* But, so far, so good it's staying down.... maybe mommies just know better!

Tired

All I really have to say today is I'm really, really tired and I don't want to have to take Madyson over to Buddy's today... I don't know how she's going to do

Sick baby

Mady is sick... miserable, throwing-up sick! And mommy is miserable right along with her!!! I spent the last hour cleaning the remnants of the three drinks of mommy's milk out of the carpet and daddy's suede couch... let me tell you that was fun!

Changes

A lot of changes are gonna happen this week. Today, momma goes back to work and daddy will be totally on his own! Until last night, he had never changed Sami's clothes... he was scared to hurt her... so we'll see how that goes.... I really don't wanna go to work, these last seven weeks with my girls have been wonderful.... and I don't care what people say, staying home with your children IS hard work! There are some days you almost pull your hair out or have to lock yourself in the bathroom just to pee alone, but I would not give up the last 3 months for anything (except maybe the chance to do it full-time)! And ubfortunately, Buddy gets his visitation back this week and there's nothing that I can do about it because he's finally paid up! The only thing that puts a bright spot on this is I got ALL of his tax returns... he got nothing! I know it probably seems petty but it makes me feel good! :)

Daddy's Birthday Parties

Well, Charlie's birthday was this week and to celebrate the girls and I decided to take daddy to Chuck E. Cheese. We had the best time ever!

First smiles

I've been trying to catch some of those elusive first smiles on camera and it's proving to be very difficult... as soon as I hit the button it's gone. It's extremely frustrating! So far these are my favorite.

Lets try this again!

Well I tried this once before and I'm gonna try this again, hopefully with more success! I have a friend who does this daily and I don't know how she finds the patience with two busy little boys!
